I understand from your website that Isee2 is the diamond with the “highest quality and beauty in the world” but what about the Hearts-on-fire diamond?...

They claim to be the “world’s most perfectly cut diamond” for many years now... but when I browse the diamond forums Hearts-on-fire diamonds don’t always score above 9 and isee2 diamonds score always above 9.4 or 9.5!?

Is Isee2 using a better technology for polishing diamonds? An Isee2 diamond is average better than a Hearts-on-fire AND cheaper? On different websites of jewelers you’ll find both adverts for Isee2 as well as Hearts on Fire claiming BOTH to be the best?! How does a Tiffany diamond scores on the Isee2? The more I try to understand the more I get confused...

Go to http://www.goodoldgold.com/the_isee2_project.htm and you will understand more: Isee2 technology is objective - Hearts on Fire's Proportion Scope is an old gimmic compared to this!

Why is Hearts on Fire more expensive?? YOU, the CUSTOMER, pay for their ADVERTISING BUDGET... thats what a brand is all about, no

I bought my girlfriend an Isee2 diamond and ALL her friends want one!!! Isee2 diamonds are cheaper, better and MEGA-WOW!

I LOVE ISEE2 !!

"Yes, Jill and Ice - in comparing the two products, marketing tag lines aside, the Isee2 diamond is superior in craftsmanship - because our standard goes far beyond the diamond's ability to demonstrate a 'hearts and arrows' reflection pattern with a light scope. The Isee2 diamond is specifically crafted to insure the absolute highest levels of beauty and light performance - to allow the diamond to behave for you as nature intended. The real difference in the Isee2 diamond though is far more than that. The difference is in your thorough understanding of what makes your diamond unique and superior. It's in your ability to actually see an objective measurement of that beauty and performance and to know all the details of your diamond's history - form it's home in the earth to its home on your finger. Your Isee2 diamond is more than color, clarity and carat weight - and it's far more than hearts and arrows. It's superior quality and craftsmanship - it's beauty, performance and confidence - all in one stunning package. THAT'S what you see - and THAT'S why you recognize that your Isee2 diamond is so much more magnificent than anything else out there! The best news of all is that, yes, the Isee2 diamond IS less expensive - because the value is placed in the craftsmanship and the product - not in an invisible 'brand name' that means nothing once the diamond leaves the store.

About your question regarding a Tiffany diamond - it's quite possible that a top quality, round brilliant cut diamond from Tiffany might earn a performance score of 9 or above while another round brilliant cut diamond from Tiffany might score below 9. Tiffany, like many retailers, makes a variety of diamond qualities available to their clients. Isee2 diamonds, on the other hand, are fashioned to one absolute standard: The very highest levels of beauty and performance - consistently.

Thanks a lot for your interest in “Isee2”.

Very best regards,

Several Things...

If ISee2 is the best then why isnt the worlds most perfectly cut diamond there logo? I wouldnt allow another company to say they were the best if i was the best?

Another thing I sell both of these in my store and yes the HoF have a lower score then ISee2 Diamonds but why is it when i do "the pepsi challenge" for my customers (put both side by side and ask which looks better without the customer knowing which was which) do they almost always say the HoF looks better?

Dear Darren,

First - regarding the 'Most Perfectly Cut' tag line: please understand that is not the policy of Overseas Diamonds to degrade its competitors or to make value judgments regarding their use of any particular choice of words, even when we have solid reason to question their validity. In the United States, any supplier of goods can make any claim they choose about the 'quality' of their product, until that claim is proven false or inaccurate. Remember, though that simply saying something does not make it true. As we understand it, the HoF tag line is currently being challenged by several industry bodies (trade, consumer and retailer). At Isee2, we prefer to let the customer compare and select the diamond that is best for them, based on personal observation and objective analysis.

Now, regarding consumer preference, I believe that your personal experience is not consistent with what others across the country have seen. Of course, consumer preference is subjective, and is easily influenced by even the most subtle of cues from the salesperson. Could it be that your personal preference plays a role here?

The Isee2 technology makes the comparative process far more objective for the consumer. The evaluative system has no way of determining which diamond is in the device at any given time, neither when the diamond is placed into the machine nor when it is analyzed. The Isee2 technology cannot possibly influence the result, skewing it in favor of one diamond over another, as it is oblivious to the diamond's make or manufacturer. There is also no user influence which allows the operator to input such information prior or during analysis. Isee2 provides pure, objective analysis and simply presents that analysis for the consumer's review and choice.

Isee2 offers a product with the guarantee of the highest levels of performance quality together with the means for the consumer to assess it himself. In addition, the consumer is provided the peace of mind that comes with a completely transparent trail of origin - a 'birth certificate' that allows the him/her to follow their diamond from the mine to the finger. Isee2 also provides the unique proposition to compare its diamonds with any other diamond available.

Do you know of any other product offering such a peace of mind to the consumer?
